We would like to thank everyone who approached the Christmas Treats Table on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The young ones and the young at heart both enjoyed the goodies, treats and special gifts.

Many thanks to Tho and Hoac Pham who spearheaded the Christmas decorating this year. We also would like to thank the crew for helping out: Adam Rodriguez, Theresa Quintana, Patricia Hughes, Gail and Geary Jones, Adam Pham and Susan Ortwerth.

Each December 12th, the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe is celebrated. This day commemorates the appearance of Mary to the Mexican peasant Juan Diego in 1531. The feast day is an important holiday in Mexico. It has also become an important day for Mexican Americans to celebrate their religious and cultural identity and Sangre de Cristo Church is no exception.
